IM IN LOVE IM IN LOVE AND I DONT CARE WHO KNOWS!!!! While buddy the elf may have said it first that is exactly how i feel LOL. In february crab and i celebrated our 4 year anniversary and it was likely the most magical one yet.
Fun fact: we are very much creatures of habit and have been celebrating the same way since our first year. I would say we have definitely fine tuned things along the way and i really do think we have nailed the perfect itenirary.
Friday @ 5:30pm - Dinner at Cafe Monarch
If you havent had the pleasure of dining in at Cafe Monarach you really should. Now i wont say this is a spot id recommend on a random thursday, but im not here to judge either ;) It is very much a special occasion spot. Lowkey I think it is one of the top 5 resturants in Arizona so yes… be preapred to spend some coins $$$$.
We typically go with the caviar starter and then the 4 course selection. The 8 course is honestly just SO much freakin food. I would also suggest getting a bottle of wine vs doing the wine pairing if youd like to remember leaving the place lmaooo (thats a story for another time).
The food and our waiter was EVERYTHING!!
Friday 8:15pm - Head to the airport
Yes, you read that correctly. This is my favorite part of the tradition if im honest. There is nothing better than showing up to a fancy ass dinner with a suitcase and asking the hostess to hold your bags. WHY? because after dessert we fly immediately to LAS VEGASS!!!
Strolling in the airport dressed to the 9s is ALSO one of my most favorite things. People are always SO confused and VERY complimentary. If youre ever having a bad day throw on some heels and let the terminal be your runway babes.
Friday 10pm - Head to Hotel FontaineBleau
I have gone to vegas enough at this point that I have sampled a lot of different hotels and FontaineBleau is hands down my fave. YES it is at the end of the strip and is a bit out of the way, but im going to be 33 this year…that is EXACTLY the speed im looking for. We eneded up in this crazy suite that was legit larger than my condo LOL.
We may have ended the weekend down gambling wise, but i keep telling my crab that is just a sign this year we bout to be UP in lifeeee (insert all the heart emojis here).
