The Broadmoor

Can someone please tell me why it took until the end of freaking April for me to take a day off from work!? Best believe the night before this little vacation my mental state was questionable at best…however, by the time we checked out of the broadmoor hotel I was leaving relaxed,re-energized and ready to to work until I’m 65 LMAO JK on that last part

In all seriousness there is something so freeing about waking up without an alarm and your biggest to do for the day is to make it to your lunch and dinner reservation #blessed

the property was absolutely beautiful and the weather could not have been any better. Every morning I found myself walking around the lake watching the swans swim around. Real nature shit y’all LOL.

One of my favorite and most comical things I did was take a water aerobics class on Sunday. 12/10 recommend. I was the youngest person there by 30 years which was to be expected but I was NOT expecting to be sore the day after the class. A humbling experience to say the least. Also sad to say I looked up local classes when I got back in town and they are only offered during the day when us youngsters are grinding away for the corporate machine #RIP
