MTV Cribs, But make it Valle
From the moment we drove up to Andana you could just tell this place was a vibeeeeeee. Mexico (in general) is one of my favorite places in the world and at this point I’ve been all over the country. The harsh cement exterior paired with the greenery of the vines is such a chefs kiss moment. Not to mention the curves of the arches. This was intentional and I’m LOVING every inch of it.
The lobby is only what I can describe as a literal Pinterest board. I was so overstimulated in the best way possible. The coffee table had a collection of books and pamphlets which was so perfectly styled and stacked. REAL Lillie’s was just the icing on the cake. It was so moody yet inviting. I fear I could have sat on that couch and watched the fire burn for literal days. How they mounted the picture frames on the back wall was also very visually striking (keeping this in mind for our future home for sure). Y’all know I’m a details girlie and this place was off the charts from the movement we stepped inside.
Our room is the perfect combination of texture. Like for real this is an interior junkies DREAM. Cement, wood, rattan, soft linens, velvet, just enough mirrors and the turquoise tile in the bathroom OH MY GODDDDD. Can we seriously have a moment for this COLOR. Just what this space needed to remind you youre actually still in Mexico.
The restaurant on property is equal parts to die for. Again if our future home doesn’t end up looking like a resort I have failed myself and josh. walking into the open space 2 things caught my eyes the PINK plates (which I lowkey need to find out where they sourced these) and this breathtaking chandelier in the back. Talk about a statement piece. I had to investigate this almost immediately after sitting down. I believe it is horse hair. Yes, I had my hands all up on that thing. Very course and very much something I would like to recreate…no like I’m being so for real. Every little detail of the space had been thought through which brings me sooo much joy and basically has me going to sleep on cloud nine every night.
Interiors aren’t just for the gram. Good interiors can help create a vibe and emotions that lead to memories for a lifetime.
And I think that’s the part we sometimes forget. It’s not about having the fanciest furniture or the most expensive finishes. It’s about someone caring enough to think about the tiny details—the flowers on the table, the color of the plates, the weird horsehair chandelier I obviously had to touch.
Those are the things that make a space feel like something. And when a space makes you feel something? You remember it.
So yes, I came to Valle for the wine. But apparently I’ll also be leaving with photos of furniture, bed linen tags and lots of light fixtures.
