And SEW it begins
YALLLLLL I GOT A SEWING MACHINE (insert excited Kermit gif here). I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily mid 30s yet but these granny hobbies are becoming more and more my vibe every single day.
I will admit in my 20s (sooooo long ago) I would tend to not explore hobbies unless I went ALL OUT. Ie I’d convince myself unless i bought the top of the line camera there would be no reason to explore photography which would in turn result in me not exploring the hobby at all. You know just some good ole self sabotaging behavior.
ANYWHO…I’ve got some sewing machine projects on my vision board for this year and it’s basically September so it’s time to get down to business #mulan
I’ve been watching Facebook marketplace because I didn’t want to spend a ton to dip my toes into this pond. I ended up driving to San tan valley (basically Europe) to get one for a steal of a deal. S/O to Bad Girl Rhi Rhi for keeping watch on my location to ensure I wasn’t kidnapped #loveyou.
This next week I’ll be heading to my happy place (hobby lobby) to get some supplies. I’ve been stockpiling graphic tees off Depop for this exact reason.
