Pad See Ew
this one goes out to all my gluten free girlies! when I was diagnosed with celiac disease 2 years ago it was incredibly daunting. reading all the blogs online sent me down a really negative spiral if I’m being honest. seeing phrases like “I don’t eat out anymore” scared the shit out of me… like what do you mean I have to stay home for the rest of my life?! I remember sitting in my bed crying and thinking how much things were about to change. if you know me I’m very food motivated so this totally rocked my world.
thankfully I have a very supportive crab in my life who has shown me things didn’t have to change that much. I can still eat delicious food, i just have to keep my head on a swivel.
My crab has also become quite the chef because of this #blessed. I’m not going to act for one second like any of these delicious meals are cooked by yours truly. but I will say I am a fabulous dish washer, cleaner and official taste tester.
Here is the link to the recipe we typically use. However, chef crab has made a few tweaks he wanted me to call out. once I started filming these cooking sessions and he called me out for not getting a shot of the cracked pepper I knew I had created a monster.
Crab Comments:
1 Serrano pepper is a must!
Oyster sauce isn’t necessary - talk about sodium intake OVERLOAD
press up the eggs by 1
Regular brown sugar is just fine
Flank steak or thin cut ribeye is better - although I’m team chicken personally hehe
