Let me start by saying this will be the first of MANY South Africa blog posts so buckle up my friends it’s going to be a magical ride :)

it feels fitting though to start by recapping my safari looks. Apparently they were a real crowd pleaser LOL well my 5 friends said they were and honestly isn’t that all that matters anyway?

Any vacation hates to see me and my Pinterest board coming #FACTS I don’t know when this started, maybe 5-6 years ago but I typically have a secret Pinterest board for every trip I take. I pin inspo that then helps me curate looks, determine what can be shopped from my closet and what things may need to be purchased.

I do want to preface that I try to be hella intentional these days when I do purchase something new for a trip. It must be fully integrated into my closet after the fact or I’m not heading to the check out. Overconsumption is a big ole problem and we don’t have time for that up in here.

Keep in mind the safari was just 4/12 days and we only travel in carryon luggage. Outfit remixing was inevitable but that’s where the magic happens ;)
